Espar CombiHob
The Espar CombiHob is a diesel-fired twin burner hob with a fold-down lid that provides 2.2kW of blown warm air for heating the interior of a motorhome or boat.
The hob mounts into a 472 x 339mm cut-out in a kitchen or galley worktop.
When connected to diesel fuel and a 12 volt DC power supply, the Espar CombiHob will boil a kettle of cold water in approximately 10-12 minutes. Fold the lid down and it will provide a stream of warm air ideal for keeping warm in adverse conditions.
If a camper van is being used as an expedition vehicle, or as a base for winter sport, the Espar CombiHob has automatic air pressure sensing allowing it to operate at altitudes up to 5000 metres.
This CombiHob has slight damage to the paint on the leading edge which can be seen in the photo gallery. Also, as a Mk2 unit, it has the older, square controller, also viewable in the gallery.
